Yesterday 20th September 2015 the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda (PSU) launched the sickle cell drug fund at Kati Kati Grounds in Kampala. The Launch activities included a sickle cell run which had 10 and 5 km races.
The fund according to the PSU will help to buy drugs for sickle cell patients in Uganda. The drug will be distributed to sickle cell patients for free across the whole country.
